Finding the right fit matters — especially when you’re ordering riding shirts, performance tops, or wearable art made for real horse life.

Nadine & Ripley apparel is designed to be comfortable, wearable, and flattering, but sizing can vary slightly depending on the product style and production partner. Please always check the size chart on the individual product page before ordering.

How to Choose Your Size

For the best fit, compare your measurements to the size chart listed on the product page.

I recommend measuring:

  • Bust/chest

  • Waist

  • Hips

  • Sleeve length, if listed

  • Shirt length, if listed

Use a soft measuring tape and measure over light clothing. If your measurements fall between two sizes, I usually recommend sizing up, especially if you prefer a looser fit for riding, barn chores, layering, or hot-weather comfort.

Riding Fit vs. Fitted Look

If you want a closer, more athletic fit, choose the size closest to your body measurements.

If you prefer a more relaxed riding fit, or you do not like fabric sitting tight across your chest, stomach, or shoulders, sizing up is usually the safer choice.

For long days at the barn, trail rides, shows, hauling, or layering, a little extra room is often more comfortable.

Pyreborne began as an original acrylic painting by Nadine Ewing, built around heat, contrast, movement, and raw equine energy.

A near-black horse rises through a field of molten gold, ember-orange, and electric yellow, its mane and body catching streaks of light as though the animal itself has been forged from fire.

This piece is less about literal realism and more about presence.

The lifted head, tense neck, sharp eye, and sweeping mane create the feeling of something powerful waking up — not calm, not tame, not decorative. Alive.
