Size Guide
Finding the right fit matters — especially when you’re ordering riding shirts, performance tops, or wearable art made for real horse life.
Nadine & Ripley apparel is designed to be comfortable, wearable, and flattering, but sizing can vary slightly depending on the product style and production partner. Please always check the size chart on the individual product page before ordering.
How to Choose Your Size
For the best fit, compare your measurements to the size chart listed on the product page.
I recommend measuring:
-
Bust/chest
-
Waist
-
Hips
-
Sleeve length, if listed
-
Shirt length, if listed
Use a soft measuring tape and measure over light clothing. If your measurements fall between two sizes, I usually recommend sizing up, especially if you prefer a looser fit for riding, barn chores, layering, or hot-weather comfort.
Riding Fit vs. Fitted Look
If you want a closer, more athletic fit, choose the size closest to your body measurements.
If you prefer a more relaxed riding fit, or you do not like fabric sitting tight across your chest, stomach, or shoulders, sizing up is usually the safer choice.
For long days at the barn, trail rides, shows, hauling, or layering, a little extra room is often more comfortable.
Made-to-Order Reminder
Many Nadine & Ripley apparel items are made to order, which means your shirt is created after your order is placed.
Because of this, please double-check your selected size before checkout.

Yes—this is a real wearable performance shirt.
The artistic lifestyle images throughout this listing are here to help you imagine different ways to style it, but the actual product is the performance quarter-zip shown in the product photos and mockups.
Each shirt is made to order, which means it is created specifically for you after your purchase rather than sitting in a warehouse. This helps reduce waste while allowing me to offer a growing collection of original artwork.
I’m currently adding real-world photos, videos, and close-up fabric details as each design is photographed outdoors.
From the saddle to the seaside.
Designed for riding, hiking, paddleboarding, kayaking, travel, gardening, fishing, beach days, and every sunny adventure in between.
Thank you for supporting a small artist-owned business. ❤️
Nadine & Ripley Signature Collection
Rosae Equiferus™
Designed for riding. Made for every adventure.
“Among the roses, the wild horse remains untamed.”
Some patterns are meant to decorate.
Others are meant to reveal themselves slowly.
Rosae Equiferus™ is a richly layered equestrian print where leopard markings, deep crimson roses, shadowed botanicals, and ornate horse imagery merge into one wild, romantic composition.
At first glance, the shirt reads as a dramatic animal print.
Look closer...
...and the horses begin to emerge.
Their faces and flowing manes are woven directly into the surrounding pattern, appearing among the rosettes, branches, petals, and dark botanical shadows like figures hidden inside an old naturalist’s illustration.
The front moves between warm leopard tones, blooming roses, and intricately detailed equine portraits. Rather than sitting on top of the print, the horses seem to grow out of it, surrounded by painterly foliage and soft transitions between tan, cream, espresso, black, berry, and deep rose.
The composition feels intentionally untamed.
No two areas of the shirt tell exactly the same story.
Across the sleeves, fragments of horse imagery appear between roses and animal markings, creating movement as the arms bend and stretch. Botanical details trail through the print, while darker accents give the artwork depth and keep the brighter florals from becoming overly sweet.
Turn the shirt around...
...and the wild horse takes center stage.
A larger equine portrait anchors the back, framed by roses, shadowed leaves, and shifting leopard pattern. The braided mane, ornate markings, and flowing contours create the feeling of an antique engraved horse brought into a modern fashion print.
The result is bold without becoming costume-like.
Feminine without becoming delicate.
Wild without becoming chaotic.
The deep red trim adds just enough structure to frame the artwork while tying together the roses and darker tones throughout the design.
Leopard rosettes.
Crimson blooms.
Shadowed leaves.
Ornamental horses.
A pattern that changes every time you look at it.
This is not simply a leopard shirt.
It is a collision of wildness, beauty, and equestrian identity transformed into wearable performance art.
Designed exclusively by Nadine & Ripley, Rosae Equiferus™ celebrates the tension between refinement and instinct—the cultivated rose beside the untamed horse.
The Story Behind the Artwork
The rose has long symbolized beauty, passion, devotion, and strength.
The wild horse represents freedom, instinct, movement, and the refusal to be completely contained.
Together, they create an intentional contrast.
The rose grows within boundaries.
The wild horse does not.
Rosae Equiferus™ explores the place where those two ideas meet.
The artwork combines warm animal markings with richly colored roses, dark botanical forms, and intricately illustrated horses so that the individual elements seem to move in and out of one another.
The horses are deliberately embedded into the surrounding print rather than separated from it. They appear almost like discoveries hidden inside the pattern—a quiet nod to the way horses themselves can seem both entirely familiar and forever a little unknowable.
The name Rosae Equiferus draws from Latin-inspired naming and evokes the idea of roses and the wild horse, giving the design the feel of a rare specimen recorded in an old botanical or natural history volume.
It is romantic.
It is feral.
And it is very much meant for women who have no interest in choosing between the two.
