Size Guide

Finding the right fit matters — especially when you’re ordering riding shirts, performance tops, or wearable art made for real horse life.

Nadine & Ripley apparel is designed to be comfortable, wearable, and flattering, but sizing can vary slightly depending on the product style and production partner. Please always check the size chart on the individual product page before ordering.

How to Choose Your Size

For the best fit, compare your measurements to the size chart listed on the product page.

I recommend measuring:

  • Bust/chest

  • Waist

  • Hips

  • Sleeve length, if listed

  • Shirt length, if listed

Use a soft measuring tape and measure over light clothing. If your measurements fall between two sizes, I usually recommend sizing up, especially if you prefer a looser fit for riding, barn chores, layering, or hot-weather comfort.

Riding Fit vs. Fitted Look

If you want a closer, more athletic fit, choose the size closest to your body measurements.

If you prefer a more relaxed riding fit, or you do not like fabric sitting tight across your chest, stomach, or shoulders, sizing up is usually the safer choice.

For long days at the barn, trail rides, shows, hauling, or layering, a little extra room is often more comfortable.

Made-to-Order Reminder

Many Nadine & Ripley apparel items are made to order, which means your shirt is created after your order is placed.

Because of this, please double-check your selected size before checkout.

Need Help Choosing?

If you are unsure which size to order, please contact me before purchasing. I am happy to help you compare your measurements to the product size chart.

When reaching out, please include:

  • The product name

  • Your bust/chest measurement

  • Your waist measurement

  • Your usual shirt size

  • Whether you prefer a fitted or relaxed riding fit

I would much rather help you choose before you order than have you stuck with something that does not feel right.

A custom cinematic fantasy story portrait created from your horse, donkey, pet, rider, or beloved animal companions.

The Ruby Edition is designed for a more story-driven custom artwork. This option is best for two subjects, a horse and rider, mare and foal, horse and dog, bonded animal companions, or a more emotional fantasy scene with added atmosphere and storytelling.

Your finished artwork is delivered as a high-resolution digital file with a personal-use print license. This gives you permission to print the artwork for your own home, barn, office, or as a personal gift.

Fine art prints may also be purchased separately through Nadine & Ripley if you prefer a professionally produced print.

What’s included:

• Up to two main subjects
• Custom fantasy story portrait artwork in my signature cinematic style
• More detailed composition, mood, and storytelling than the Moonstone Edition
• High-resolution digital file
• Personal-use print license only
• One revision round after preview
• Digital delivery only — no physical print included

How it works:

After purchase, I will contact you by email for reference photos and details about your animals, rider if included, preferred mood, colors, story, and fantasy direction.

Please provide clear reference photos, especially faces, markings, body shape, tack if relevant, and any meaningful details you want included.

This listing is best for two-subject or story-based artwork. If you would like a highly elaborate multi-subject scene, book-cover style artwork, or commercial use, please choose the Diamond Edition or contact me for a quote.

Important:

This is a custom digital artwork service. No physical item will be shipped.

Personal-use print rights are included. You may print the artwork for yourself or as a personal gift only. Commercial use, resale, merchandise, logo use, advertising use, AI training, or claiming the artwork as your own are not included.

Because custom work begins after purchase, commissions are not refundable once work has started.
