“Tidewoven: Reefborn” was created for equestrians who love performance apparel but crave something more immersive, artistic, and emotionally expressive than traditional riding wear.

Inspired by Nadine Ewing’s evolving hippocampus artwork series, this collection blends mythological oceanic equines, flowing coral reefs, luminous currents, pearls, reef ecosystems, and fantasy ocean symbolism into one cohesive wearable design. Every section of the garment was individually composed to create movement and storytelling across the entire piece rather than simply placing graphics onto fabric.

The front features a vibrant reefborn hippocampus woven through tropical turquoise waters and golden ocean light, while the back showcases a second deeper-water species with flowing lionfish-inspired fins, layered reef textures, and dramatic underwater movement. The sleeves were intentionally designed as flowing reef ecosystems filled with coral, fish, currents, pearls, and drifting ocean textures inspired by luxury couture panel work.

This piece was designed to feel less like ordinary equestrian apparel and more like functional wearable fantasy art.
